The thought process seems good and yes the easy factor is there , I wish you the best in your tesr and certainly hope they work for your sake and all of ours .After all we would not be here if it were not for the wright brothers willingness to test !!!!!

My reservations are also on the fact that the gears (according to there film) dont seem to stop screaming when the leg appears locked , remember this is all on there film . I am certain there will work fine and we will all have yet another good choice in retracts but only time will tell
