I've had plenty of crashes much worse than this one, over the last 3 years... Yikes!


To answer your question about straightening feathering shafts, I use a small brass hammer and a vise. I don't put the shaft in the jaws of the vise, I just use the flat of it. Them gently tap, turn, tap, turn, tap, etc.. I use a piece of window glass to roll the shaft on to verify for straightness... It only takes a couple minutes to do. But it has to be pretty close to perfect or you'll have problems with tracking and maybe vibration too.
