Well, I am also willing to try them and ordered 2 sets today. I have a Corsair that is ready for them so as soon as they arrive and I get them in, I'll also be happy to share. BTW, if you've ever had servo operated retracts before, you know they work the servo pretty hard too and the sound isn't very pleasant. Also note on the site that the speed on these is pretty slow so it looks scale!

There is a predicted speed of 9 seconds @ 4.8v and 7 seconds @6.0v. I am guessing that the noise you are hearing after the leg reaches the full down position is the locking mechanism going into position. If you just want your gear to flop up and down, then air is surely the thing to go for. Unless you go and buy a very good proportional air valve from another manufacturer, a Robart valve won't allow speeds like this.

If you're worried about rough landings, that's what Robostruts are for! Well that and some good old fashioned landing practice probably woudn't hurt
