So today the parts for my girlfriends kids r/c truck came in today and I told her I was leaving to go pick up his parts we've been waiting all week on. I get home take the parts out to my hanger and get his truck fixed and all that good stuff. After I was finished I made the huge mistake of cleaning up my worktable and putting all my tools and everything were they belong and getting my shop all cleaned up and ready to go. This is where it all went down hill.....
....a few minutes later,my girlfriend walked into the shop(which hardly EVER happens). With a strange look on her face and tone in her voice, she asked me if I was moving out. Without having time to come up with a plan, I said....."nope,just getting ready to build that new Sig Hog Biplane kit I got out in my car that I picked up while at the hobby shop today!" I was trying to wait till she left for her evening plans before taking it out of my car and bringing it inside because she knows dang well I dont need another plane. Oh well, guess you cant hide everything from them.
The moral of the story for all you rookies out there is when you get to the point your trying to hide your addiction from the better half of you......Dont clean your shop! Its a dead give away that your up to something, lol. It really is funny though because you see posts like this
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7414053/tm.htm that joke about having to hide your planes and stuff, and to most beginners its just funny. But it really does happen sooner or later. And sometimes you get busted!
...oh well,I got a new Sig HOG Bipe kit ! WOO HOOO!
