hi i had very similar arms on my mta4 . i think the holes you are asking about are the ones on the end of the arm next to the pillow balls? they are threaded to clamp the arm tighter on the pillow ball thread to stop it undoing itself when your running . i still had problems with mine undoing so i put some nuts on the pillow balls and locked them up to the end of the arm .
