Default RE: Nitro RC Help for a newbie

I under stand your taking your time and trying to figure out if you are going to like this hobby or not, which is a good reason to go cheap, but I would check my links as there are trucks in there that are cheaper and the same amount of money as the items you listed.

I am only trying to help you get something that will last (you being new and all).

Take a look at these models, they would be great for a beginner: [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXPAC9&P=0]Associated GT2[/link], [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXPVD8&P=0]HPI Firestorm[/link] These two are under $300 (you can get a Firestorm for [link=http://www.ultimatehobbies.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=HPI10510!1007]$230[/link]) and parts will be easy to come buy (these trucks are tough!) There are also many other great trucks out there (every body likes different stuff), but one last warning: I would stay away from RedCat, Himoto, and Exceed.

Good Luck
