they only go fast because of super high voltage lipos and mega tall gearing.
a mamba would be even faster with the same battery/gearing, we are talking 120~ here. The motors will keep winding out untill it reaches about 90 thousand RPM and the rotor shatters.
Ya, the MM couldn't keep that tall gearing for more then one speed run. If that. It will explode. It's top end vs low end. The low end can be just as fast, you just gear up. I have never seen a MM owner gear their MM even close to what I can gear my vxl.
