Glad to see you're havin a good time with the Sukhoi Don !
I am 12 days POST surgery for a rotator cuff repair, but I think, with some help, I can get mine out to fly a little this weekend !
Jim
I know what ya mean, I am totally dependent on others to fly, I don't drive, couldn't afford to if I could anyway, and need help with the assembly of the plane once it's on the ground. Although I do the starting myself though. I just lean as far over as I can in my wheelchair and have my helper push the plane just into flip distance... that way is kinda uncomfortable but since I am all the way over already with the side of my chest against the armrest of my wheelchair I can't go any farther. If I was sitting up straighter I could lose my balance and possibly fall toward the prop plus I kinda dont trust the guy helping me. I kept telling him to stand one foot in front of each stab side and after the first rev he started sniveling about how it was gonna pull him over. so he was holding it which I don't trust so now I gotta make a tail trap so I can start my plane if there is no one else around.
anyway my point is , if ya want something bad enough you improvise, make do or go without
Dont baby your shoulder too much, keep up with those range of motion exercises I know they will or do have you doing .... get well
