I agree here in the states things sports wise are screwey... football ehhh its ok.. baseball snore.. hell we have a golf channel here!!!! *** is that! ohh and the most popular form of auto racing is oval racing Nascar junk?!?!? watching cars go left.. lap after lap after lap for hours.. yeah ooohhh fun.

Now rugby that is nuts. like football but 10x more brutal with no pads! Also WRC is popular across the pond! Over here most people don't even know what the WRC is. Formula one is popular over there too. Most open wheeled racing here is on an oval track of course. heck are there any oval tracks at all across the pond?

One thing I do like here though is drag racing. in the midwest chicago area there are 4 drag strips within an 1-2 hour drive. There are shops that specialize in making camaros and firebirds or mustangs fast for street/strip straight line driving. The drag strip is fun though because anyone can do it from a minivan to pro street car. Also monster truck racing is a blast to watch and something that only americans would come up with... lol! heck without teh monster trucks in teh states there would be no savage, no t-maxx! this hobby would not be nearly as big as it is now without monster trucks.
