RE: 8ight-T OR Hyper ST PRO
I went 8T RTR and spent another $100 thanks to Ebay and is pretty much the same as the Pro version bar chassis.
8T is light, agile and great Spectrum receiver. I have now had to upgrade the Mach 427 to an LRP .28 which is awesome, a completely different car now with so much torque! However the 427 Mach is one awesome stock engine that requires minimal work and tuning to keep it going. I ran 2 Gallons through mine before I had a run away and it seized, but thanks to another $40 buck's I will have it back up and running as a spare.
People have also said the 8T is not that tough, I beat mine up every weekend with some crazy jumps and tumbles on both the front and rear and it still keeps going. I spent all this money on spares and have never used a single one thanks to the durability of this, one thing I am due to replace is the clutch shoes as these do wear quite quickly but a cheap upgrade for longevity.
Good luck!
