Default Banged-up Saito 100...what to do?

Deadeye,

Get or borrow a copy of Harry Higgley's book on engines. I, like you, ventured into a Saito repair project with no previous experience. Higgley's book covers the Saito design very well. And for your particular issue, a bent pushrod, you should have no trouble with replacing it, (reinstalling the cam cover and cam gear while ensuring proper time alignment is a little dicey, but you'll get it! ). You can estimate the cost of parts by looking at the Saito .91 parts list online at the Horizon Hobby website, or contact their tech support via phone.

Good luck!
It's a great engine to tinker with!
