Yes and no.

From a 'traditional' point of view it would have to be angled outward, and hanging from the transom, but, as we race around a 30 x 30 x 30 M traingle, having a large shallow turnfin, mounted on the side of the hull, helps tight cornering (eco-style) around the markers.

The pics are made after the maiden run and, though it ran very acceptable for a first, I'm not happy with the performance yet; I'm going to change the angle so it sits parallel to the rudder and do a test run and take it from there.
