One word...MUGEN!
The TC3 is a very bad design, its amazing how some people come out here and support a car that has issues just because they own it.
Simply run a search on "Diff" and you should find some threads talking about the NTC3 and the diffs cracking under normal racing conditions...Not crashing, just driving down the track.
As for the winners circle...If you fall for that one then I feel sorry for you. The winners circle has nothing to do with the type of car, the winners circle is about someone getting paid to run a car, not about what the best car is. Ralph Burch wins because he is a factory driver and because he has an unlimted buget to race on.
Ralph would be in the same placing not matter what car he drives.
As for parts, the MUGEN MTX-3 is the newest technology and it may take a little time for parts to get out there, you can however purchase parts all day on the internet. As for having it on race day, if you dont have the parts like arms and such in your box, then you have a lot to learn about racing.
Some mention the serpent cars, which are fine cars. The prices for thier parts howver are not fine. They rob the customer blind and only fill back orders when they reach a certain point. You WILL have problems finding serpent parts on the internet and the hobby shop because of the way they do business. I owned an impulse and sold it for that very reason. I got tired of wating for parts to come in.
I have never had a problem getting MUGEN parts, they are quite available and the cost is along the lines of what HPI parts cost. Which is very cheap.
The MTX-3 has the latest technology, you wont have to add a thing, parts are cheap and its the hottest thing on the track...Everyone wants one.
As for MTX-3 going to NTC3 thats gotta be crazy, why would anyone want to go backwards in technology?
Just mine
