I run a NTC3 and race it pretty much every weekend. I only poped the front diff case after takeing a corner to hard and clipping the pipe. Im pretty sure it was due to the stress that was placed on it from the shock tower. That did the case in. So I replaced the shock towers w/ the Kfatory AL/carbon ones, and replaced the Diff cases F&R w/ Al ones. Slamed it into a wall head on the other night didnt do anything to the car and i was goin pretty close to 1/2 throtle when it happened.
