So my stepdad just got his boat today and we went to run our boats together. Well my boat ran, his boat right out of the box, the flex shaft was broke and the collet nut didn't look like it was super heated. Also the plastic tupperware looking radio box had pulled away from the wood stringers inside the hull. All I did to fix this for him was put some shoe goo and let it hardened and it held pretty good. I like my proboat shockwave 26 but, I'm not impressed by this new Formula Fastech. If you buy one, make sure you go over it and look close and check every screw.
can you upload some pics of her? This is the first I've heard of someone actually having this boat. Sux about the quality, but then I guess it is to be expected.
oh and did it get to run at all? or does it need repair, personally I would bring it back if it required any money to fix.
