RE: Blade cp pro hovering help?
Hey Def,
Sounds like just a trim adjustment...the bottom trim adjuster on the right stick, try moving it to the left just a bit, and see what happens. The heli will never actually take off without some sort of correction, so some is normal. In fact, most of the time, as soon as the heli lifts off the skids, it usually will tend to drift to the left....this is totally normal, and it's due to the thrust of the tail rotor trying to push the heli to the left.
Some people, like DY, put some extra trim in the cyclic to compensate somewhat, I just adjust as I take off, since it's not always the same amount of movement. Also, do keep in mind that hovering is MUCH more difficult when you are low to the ground, in the "ground effect/rotor wash"...the wind blowing back up from the ground really disturbs the heli quite a bit. Hovering is much easier about 3 feet or higher, but that's probably not a good idea for a newbie at first. Just stay low for now, and remember that it will get easier with more practice!
Hope this helps, remember, lots of patience, and practice!
