Default RE: Thinking of getting one

Get a sim any sim but get a sim if you are even entertaning the idea of this hobby get a sim some are free and good ( FSM) some are cheap and great ( clearview 40$) some have it all ( real flight g3 -g4 150 -200$) this will be the best investment you can make,. I would avoid the CX or any counter rotating heli ( coaxle) the avarge adult out grows them in about 3 flights and they act very little like the larger helis or a CP ( colective pitch) one. By the way the Honey bee is fixed pitch but a great noob heli its cheap other than the landing gear it tuff you will find it will come easyer to you if you get lots of extra parts for it at the time of purchase , here or the HS you get it from can uasally give you a list of items or parts they sell the most of. You want to replace the broken part and get it back in the air ASAP or you wont learn from your past mistakes, espally if you have to wait 2 weeks for new blades. Anyway this is just my 2 cents give a sim a try good luck and have fun , oh try to build on success in small increments you will be killing it in no time.. AX
