like others have said... get a co-axial heli to start with. this will allow you both to learn orientation and get the basics of flight down before moving to a single rotor heli.. also get a sim.. real flight G4 is great but it's expensive. FMS is free... and looks and flies like crap. Clearview is a great sim.. and a lot cheaper than many others. Another thing you'll want to get is batteries.. the more batteries you have, the more time you spend flying. a great place for batteries is [link=http://www.hobbycity.com?cda=28767]Hobby City[/link] . more than anything, you need patience and determination. this is a great hobby and there are a lot of very helpful people here and at other sites that are more than willing to help you with any question you have.
