Default RE: U-Can-Do 60 with a Tower 75 Engine?

ORIGINAL: newguy05

from experience it will fly but not much 3d. I had a st 75 on mine first, flew sport like, then went to a st90 and it could barely hover and now im on a os 120 surpass and i have hover and steady but not fast pull out. id at least stick a os 120 4s or 2s on it to be happy.

There's a world of difference between the ST 75 and the Tower Hobbies .75.

The latter is a stump puller, and should have NO problems with the UCD .60 doing 3D.

I would suggest going for a slightly bigger lower pitch prop on the list of the recommended props for the T.H. .75, but only putting this on after the TH .75 is fully broken in.

The S.T. 75 is not a slouch, and does wonders on my Big Stick .60, but the T.H. seems to do much better and develope more power.

I've flown the T.H. .75 on a bigger and heavier ( but older and now discontinued ) Passion 3D, and even on this heavier plane, there were no problems doing 3D after the engine was properly tuned.
