Thanks for the article Mike. Very useful information for those that choose to make it themselves, and make it right! Often the formed wire in kits and ARFs leaves much to be desired in the "straightness" department. Then there's always custom/scale landing gear and such that uses relatively heavy wire that benefits from softening to make nice bends.
