Thanks UMI. That Mtroniks on cornwallmodelboats does look good. But I also went to Horizon and found the Hitec EZX-R and went for it. It was slightly less than the Mtroniks and saved a bit of time in shipping.

I am glad you found something to use.
I prefer to run 12volts, and use the water proof ESC.
I have a couple of the blue Proboat. One is in use in my Springer tug.

The Mtroniks I ordered from Cornwall arrived today. So from the UK to Oregon, eight days... great shipping.
