I'm sure there have been some reported problems but a review of spektrums website shows no bulletin that would imply there is a problem with the 6200 series of rx's. I just bought a 6200 and hope to find that it is trouble free, currently I use a couple ar6100s, two 7000s, and one 6300. All of them operate flawlessly.

I have seen quite a few people say that they have no problems with their 6200s so maybe you got a bad one if it is the rx. You could try replacing the remote rx and see if that helps.
