On my savage I run steel wich is the same basic clutch setup as the old tmaxx but you said the 3.3 which has the revo slipper clutch. Once you you master setting the slipper you will agree that plastic is the way to go. It took me about a year to truly learn how to set the slipper and since my plastic spur has outlasted and STS .30 and now on the second gallon from a Lrp .28 Truggy Edition. So practice setting your slipper and save your money.
