Default McCulloch Saws

John, I've had a couple of these conversions over the past years. I still have one on the bench right now. It is a front carb/rear exhaust. The coil is mounted on the side of the carb. I had one on electronic ignition with a mechanical advance and another with mag ignition. They both ran good. I had a MA 18x8 on them but I don't recall the RPM's, I want to say it was around 8000. The mag version was a bit of a bear to hand start, but a rope around the hub made it usable. I had them on a Midwest AT-6. You do have to shave some material to lighten them up as the bar mount and oiler is part of the engine case. I have a fuzzy pic of one on an old website if you hit the www button just below this text. It is on the AT-6 page.
