3D No but maneuverable certainly. It can perform all the maneuvers of a tail rotor heli except fast forward speed and 3D flying. You should go and check out the walkera website at www.walkera.com and watch the videos they have posted there. Its a good fun heli to fly indoors and out (on a calm day) and its cheap and spares are cheap and always available.

Otherwise go for a DF4#1 tail motor drive. Its a very forgiving heli and well priced. I have one and it takes a really hard crash to break something, and all the parts are cheap.

Your call, I've been flying for some time now and this is the best advice I can give you, and dont forget the RC Simulator is the KEY here!
