Default RE: Sticky grease for struts ?

ORIGINAL: 747drvr

Hi Guys,

I have Behotec struts with a very sticky grease that's very effective at providing damping . Does anyone know a common source of a similar grease so I can service my struts ?

Marc
Hi Marc
I had to change my oleostrut springs to something much stronger on my AW L-39 1/5, when doing that I used "Friction Grease" to get the dampening affect. Works great! I got it from a R/C Car store. They use it for friction dampers on R/C cars.
This is the product:

It's available in different grades. To give an idea, I used High grade for my 40lbs L-39.
