Oracus,
Holy mud slides, we are getting bombarded too. Two bridges out, can't see the neighbors house across the street, the rain and winds are so high. My house is about 3 1/2 feet above street level. Water was half way up my driveway. NO PLACE TO RUN, it's to late. Yuk-yuk About six inches of water in my back yard, only if I had a canoe.

Alot of main roads closed, even a few interstate highway around Indy. We've gotten about 9 inches of rain in the last 6 hours or so. It's 2 pm, stopped raining for now, but will start up again around 5 pm. Nice day for taking a nap.

I have a ranch home with full basement, so I trudged downstairs to check it out. Had water in my computer room, not much, just enough to panic.[X(] The water was coming in the basement window. There was about a foot of water in the window well. Went ouside and dug a small trench to get the water away from the house. About an hour of clean up and now, all is fine and dandy. Believe this or not, it's sooo bad, they are sending in the coast quard from Chicago to help out... YIKES! There are several surrounding counties that are in a state of disaster. Sounds like you're having a heck of slam too.
A lot of the farms are devistated, which means the price of food will go up, and of course they're predicting gasoline to hit 5 bucks by the 4th of July.
Take care my friend,
Dave / Choppersrule
