Default Use of Fuel Valve or Fuel Dot in Gasser

When using the felt clunks there is a filter that is located under where the felt is. I have seen this filter part cause problems, you need to remove the felt and pull out the inner filter. Then reinstall the felt it is just held on with a clip. The inner filter can cause fuel flow problems. I know from experience. As for the vent line I use 2 t fittings and place a 1 way check valve in the vent line. I use 2 of the valves, they let in air but do not let fuel out you just leave them inside the fuse, I then run the vent to another fuel dot below the filling fuel dot for the over flow when fueling and have a line back to my gas can to hook to it no mess on the ground fueling. You should be able to get the 1 way check valves at a lawnmower shop they use them in weedeaters and such equipment.
