Jay,

Now that is totally awesome, of course Vic isn't sophisticated about the Red Wings. LMAO He said it, I didn't.

You know I am one for details, I see the pilot of the plane is YOU. You just pushed my button, I've been thinking about making decals, stencils, for about 2 months now. I for one, would be VERY interested in the process. All I need to know is the type of paper you purchased and step by step. Guessing, get the picture or wording you want, try on plain paper first for right sizing. Print on special paper, the apply several light coats of clear coat, then lastly a heavier coat.. My biggest question would be, how does it stick/attach to the plane or helicopter? Or is that what the sticker material does for you? This would be a big break through for me.

God Bless,

Hi guys, I wanted to share a pic of what I've been working on. Most know that I love the Red Wings and I made a plane that tributes them. I had bought different decals and made some by cutting them out of trim material. I made my latest decals by downloading images from the net and printing them on sticker material I bought at Office Max, full 8.5" by 11". Ink from an ink jet will run with water contact so I spray the sheets with a glossy clear coat. I start with some light mists and then final coat is heavier. Let them dry, cut them out, and place them on your model. I think this would work great for heli's. I wouldn't try it on gas stuff, I'm sure it wouldn't last. If anyone is interested I'll give you more info on the sticker sheets and stuff.

God Bless!

Jay
