Default RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

This stuff is pricey so yes, print the idea on regular paper first for the correct size and then on the sticker material. The stuff I got is from Office Max and is made by "AVERY". Their part number is 8665 and is labeled "Clear full sheet labels". I bought a 25 sheet package for $21. I've never been one to be able to reuse smaller portions of paper in a printer so I try to stack a bunch of design on one sheet. The label material sticks very well to a cleaned surface, I use rubbing alcohol to clean the surface before applying. I bought an can of gloss clear from Testors and it works very well. If you spray to much on your first coats it will run, ask me how I know
One other thing, price of ink is horrible and I have a photo printer. I print the test sheet on regular paper in the most basic setting to test the size. Once you are going to print the sticker, print it in your best photo print setting.
Always feel free to ask me any more questions or if anyone has suggestions, please tell!

That is me in the cockpit, a picture taken while I was sitting in the SNJ-4 ready to go. I took the picture and laminated it to a peice of 3mm thick depron foam and glue it in place. It's my favorite way to do the cockpit now
Here are a few more pics of my Texan. Again some decals are hand cut and others printed on the sticker/label material.

God Bless!

Jay
