Thanks for the reply Steve, lexan is the trade mark for a very strong plastic , this plane may not be covered with it but is using a thin plastic. I have two of these planes which are a scaled down copy of a swiss airobatic plane sold under the Futaba name in the late 80s or early 90s, both planes were broken in the very same place, must be weak right behind the wing.

I have been building RC planes sense the early 80s but have never had to recover a plane like this, I know I will have to beef up from the wing back if I am going to plank but thought I would get some other ideas.

If I have not got close to this planes description please let me know. By the way close to the tail it says Futaba 1991 or something close to that date.
