I wouldn't worry about that hot motor....did you ever happen to check it *before* all the work? Mine is undamaged as far as I know and it's always run very hot. I am interested in that belt conversion, that's something I'd like to try if I decide to fly the Axe for any length of time beyond my "initial training".
