Waldo I may just have to make me a bwipe somday
Well I gotta chance to go fly for an hr today, I started out mowing late this morning and it was nice 73 and calm. But as the day progressed the wind started picking up to about 17 out of the south east.
I thought I gotta go fly, so I took the T_ _ _T out. Taxing out to the runway the wind was pushing her around a little. Once she got to the center Of the runway I spun her around straight into the wind and hammered that 61. Lift off was instantous with the nose straight up and going vertical. In a matter of about 1 and 1/2 seconds she was 100 ft or so up and about 200 ft down wind. I then brought the nose down and brought her back to me. Once she got about 50 ft to the south of me and about 50 ft up I attempetd to fly her backwards down the runway.
I wasn't able to do that very well in level flight BUT if I nosed her up at about 70 degrees or so she would cook going backwards.
After playing with her like that for a few minutes I started working on low approaches, I wanted to be sure I could land her in 1 piece.
I done a session of harrier landings with very little forward motion.
I got another flight in after that flight but decided to pack it up as I seen a little tailfeather flex and I want to examine that. I also want to move the cg back to 4 3/4 right now I'm just a tad over 5 and she seems a little pitch senstive
