Default RE: Phoenix Dolphin 40 wooden push rods

The Dubro Super Strength Landing Gear is a composite gear. I've been hearing really good things about it, too. It's pretty tricky to get it set up right on the Dolphin though. I'm not sure how well mine will hold up, but I can definitely let you know. The mistake I made was not filling the holes originally in place for the stock gear (the ones that go up into the fuse and into the hardwood block). Therefore I had to work around them, really limiting the amount of space I had to play with. But it's like you said, don't get too attached to plane #2. So I'm going with the way it's installed now, and if it breaks, it breaks. Just means more mods down the road, which give me something to do on a rainy day. Really it's time to start working so I can get another plane for back-up Not sure what I'll do about the Voltwatch yet. Do you have one? They're great.

Keep me posted on how things are going with your assembly. It's such a sharp looking plane, especially in person - I really love it.

Oh, and so all pushrods went OK?
