Default RE: Paint help.

Here is a paint trick I have used.

Rattle cans any color no problem!

Find a local auto paint store that custom mixes paint. Make sure they have a COLOR GUN . You need a color swatch or test piece for the gun to shoot at. Maybe a paint stick dipped in the correct color. They take the gun usually outside in the sun as artificial light gives it a wrong color. They shoot the piece with the gun It recordes the color gives them the formula and they mix the paint in any type paint (brands) they carry. I usually go with their cheapest paint brand. They mix a pint of paint then you tell them you want it in a spray can. It usually costs $8-$10 for one can but a pint will make 1 or 2 cans. 16oz in a pint and a spray can usually holds 12oz now you may have to go with a gloss paint and then spray dullcoat on it. Or if they can mix primers they are flat. Alot of street rod guys now mix their primers custom colors like blue, yellow and so on. Hope this helps I know it works for me. My paint is mixed at a paint store called RMS they have a few nationwide.
