Default RE: Output voltage; Accu cycle elite

I have read that nickel packs can reach as high as 1.65 V per cell under charge. Something about a static charge in addition to the absorbed charge.

I have found that when you take a pack off charge immediately at peak detection, and put a voltmeter on them they are substantially over the 1.4 - 1.45 fully charged state, but it bleeds off very quickly.

Probably, Red can explain or correct this. I haven't really studied due to not really needing to know.

My interest in seeing the charge-on voltage is to look for anything that's really out of line like a very high or very low voltage. Also, you can pretty well tell where you are in the charge at times. If it's been charging awhile, going up slowly, and then the voltage starts rising rapidly, you are approaching peak. If it's falling off, you're past the peak and the charge should terminate soon.
