"You are not going to straighten the landind gear if you do bend it by hand."

cut a slot near the end of a 2' long peice of hardwood decking or similar (slot is about 1 inch long across the grain) slip this over the gear as close to the wheel as you can get and using this as a lever she straightens out really easy, if you want to be cautious, use another peice of wood to pull against slipped over the gear down by the fuse. You really do not have to go to the bother of un bolting and using a nasty old vice to straighten it ! nice thing is, the wood does not damage the paint either.
