Thought I better post up now before tomorrow.
This is an old kit made by Texas Twins, hope the designer got some money out of them before they produced it!! Very nice build and A nice little plane. {Said before the first flight}
The kit was given to me by another local pilot, Bobzilla, I think I'm the fourth owner but the kit stops here!! It's A little 65 inch Extra 260, supposed to be 60 size but it's dwarfed by my CG Extra 300L that is only 68 inches and 60 size, go figure.
Foam core mostly with A built up fuse. I glassed it with A different Poly U method, that was fun and it came out better then any other glass job I have seen. Just took A lot of time. Painted with Klass Kote and the silver pin striping is done with silver dope. Engine is A SK .91 and I used all 5475 H Tech with A Futaba RX.
All the little stuff like switches and GIANT battery goes on and on so I will spare you, I make up my own pull/pull systems and control systems and I have mentioned them over the years.
This little guy does have some minor little problems so I thought I better post before I let it try to leave the bonds of earth and arise to soar with Eagles.
Looks better now then if it ends up in A black plastic bag!!!!!!!!!
