As I was told when I was in the Air Force, there are a lot of Bold pilots and a lot of Old pilots but not many Old Bold pilots. When you fly on the edge, you will eventually feel the sharpness of the blade. I hope no one get hurt when that happens.
That's why we fly RC.
The statement in reference to the Air Force is referring to the pilots, not bystanders. With RC it's unlikely if it went wrong anyone would be hurt besides the jet itself and the pilots ego. It would actually be more dangerous going out of control at speed or altitude flying in a scale manner. Then it would be ballistic...
