Default RE: SPA Planes

There is no way the Tipo could be legal. The plans where in Model Builder Magazine February 1980. Although this would have been my first choice for a new kit. I didn't mention it because I was under the impression that it was not SPA legal. I just looked on the list and the Tipo is not on it.

I've sent two e-mails to Great Planes letting them know that they need to come back out with the kit if they still had the molds and templates.

The Tiporare was the plane I learned to fly with in 1983. I never had a trainer. I would love to have another. I've got the plans and figured some day I'll get around to building it, but right now I'm more concerned with building SPA legal planes.
