Default RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation

Kerwin all one needs to be always T_ _ _ Ting is a bottle of Zap and some epoxy, I find myself never being T_ _ _ Tless and I only own 1, I beat the living death out of the first one for about 2 -3 years, so I bought another and am on my way to destroying this one. I just can't help myself, just when you get into that comfortable mode of flying and everything is going great[8D] the subconscience takes over and says [>:]what else can it do !!! and hence, outside the envelope begins again. This one already had a complete over haul because the 2nd week I had it my good cuz and I had a mid air which totaled both our planes, as a matter of fact we were back in the sky this morning with those same very 2 planes, we even hit wings again lol we'll never learn. they were both flying just like they came out of the box though, gotta love glue.

Today I got out there and there was no wind and becoming quite humid, but I got in at least 6 flights with the T_ _ _ T and another 5 in with the new mustang, AWESOME Day of flying, on my last flight with the T _ _ _ T I was doing a harrier about 1 foot off the deck and then out of no where she decided to snap roll left, I was pretty much harriering with my hands off so I quickly had to grab the sticks and floor it and gave it hard right and she leveled out just in time to touch the wheels and roll at high speed into the high grass which put a few holes in the monocote and I think I must have hit the wing tip as it is buckled a little and the covering is all wrinkled and loose on the right tip underneath now. but all in all it was a great day. some minor surgery will be required this week but nothing unrepairable by any means. I'm thinking cut the covering back and drop some zap in there on the cracks and stick the cote back on, probably about a 10 minute repair.

It was great to fly the T_ _ _ T as the T_ _ _ T again seeing its now been 5 weeks since I flew it with 1 wing LOL,, wow I missed that plane.

Well its off to a family gathering for a surprize B-day for my Uncles 70th so cold refreshments is in store for the rest of the day.

Happy Fathers day to all you Dads, Have a great weekend.
