Hey Guys,

I finally got to maiden my Extra this weekend and it went well. In fact it went much better than well. The guys were booing from the pits because the first take off and circuit were so uneventful. It took 3 clicks of up elevator and one click of right aileron to trim it for level flight. On the 45 upline after a roll to inverted it starts to shallow out slowly so it may be a touch nose heavy. I'll install the pilot and move the ignition pack back a bit and see if that fixes it.

Slow rolls, knife edge and 4 point rolls were all effortless and I felt so comfortable with this plane I was doing all those and more on the first flight. What a dream to fly!!!!!!! Chris you have a real winner here. The motor is brand new so I haven't tried any hovering yet but I'm sure it will be a treat.

Is anyone following this thread attending the Rally of Giants in two weeks?
