The engine ran a little better. It would hang on the prop, but only at full throttle and it wouldnt hold for more than about 20 seconds without nosing over, so today at trip to the hobby shop for an OS 61 will be in store. I should pay more attention and not try to be so cheap. Live and learn. Most of the guys in the club run OS as most of you guys do. Ding....ding.....ding. Must be a reason for it? I will set the magnum aside for another plane. Its not a bad engine. It just doesnt do what I want with this plane. It was only my second plane and I didnt know what to expect. Now I know, so no more cheap o's in the future.
