Check the weights. DA is built light. The 3W is built strong but heavy. In your 27% plane the flying will suffer a bunch from 3W's weight. But put it in a 88" span newer type 50cc plane and it will shine big time. Better to ask which "one" you should get first. If you go 3W get the rear carb. Learning to do engine mounting around a rear carb isn't that hard compared to having to chop a cowl up to fit around the carb on a side intake engine.
I heard that 3w engines are lighter. At least that their twin cylinders are.
