Default Evolution 40 GX vs 35 GT

I just saw an ad for the new Evo 40-GX! I am an owner of a 35-GT. The 35-GT is now discontinued and replaced by this 40-GX. I looked up the specs and saw that they share the same demensions and the 40-GX is 1.6 oz lighter. If I had to guess I would say they share the same engine block and head but the 40-GX has a longer stoke and/or bore. Simply said they put a new piston/rod/crank in the old 35 GT and said, "we have a new engine." Kinda like taking a worn out 302 and installing a stoker kit to get a 347. The 35-GT has been accused of being over weight and under powered. I guess this is the answer to those cries. I also surmise that the weight savings of 1.6 oz. comes from a trimmed crank/rod/piston... Bottom line here! Is there a "stroker kit" I can buy for my 35-GT to make it a 40-GX?
