I want a power upgrade for a pattern plane. I currently have an old YS 1.20NC and was looking at a YS 1.40 Sport.

I realize the 1.60/1.70DZ engines are the very best out there in terms of power.

However, is the OS 200fs a valid replacement for the 1.40 sport?

I think the OS will give me the capability to swing huge props (15x12 3-blade, 18x10 - 20x8, etc) on slightly less expensive fuel (15%) for similar power to the 1.40 on 30%, weighs about the same or less, and also costs a bit less than the 1.40. Maintenance on the OS should be minimal, similar to the .91 and 1.20 Surpass. I would like a simple, light, powerful plug-and-play system.

Any comments?
