I'm new to thos topic, but not new to RCU. I'm 2 years into a Bud Nosen P-47 build and should be done this Winter. There's a thread on my build on RCU in the Warbirds section. The 1/5 scale YMF is next on my list. I had thought about getting the Cox ARF and reworking it until I saw how the top wing dihedral comes together. I really like the way the top wing has the flat section in the middle. It makes the plane look more graceful or something. Plus, the Arfs seem to be all sold out.

Anyway here's the question. I want to build this plane but, I don't want to cut a kit out. Should I wait for a 1/5 PICA kit to show up on an auction site or have a kit cutter cut one for me?

I also would like to ask to be initiated into the Brotherhood.
