As has been noted I also would check the elevator halves to know if they move accordingly, the use of an incidence meter here is a must if we are thinking that the problem resides here.
Actually, I know a pattern guy who flies the Masters sequence that checks his elevator halves using the same technique I described above. I wouldn't go so far as to say an incidence meter is a must for this task, although it is still nice to have one around. [8D]
