I was told to try a smaller prop on the 55 like a 10x8. When I get bored with the 55 I will put a magnum 91 2 stroke in for cheap speed.
I found out the hard way that a .55ax is just as fast as a .91fx plus the 91 fx uses twice as much fuel. I bought a .91fx to put on my Pulse xt 40. My pulse xt40 does 115+ with a 55ax and gets 15 mins flying time. I put the .91fx on there and it was no faster and only flys for 6-7 minutes. [
] Don't get me wrong the .91fx is a great motor but I fill like the .55ax is just as fast(If not faster) plus you get alot more fly time.
