I used an LA 40 in mine because it was the largest engine I could find that was light enough so I didn' t need to add weight to the tail.

I was going to use a saito 56 but I would have needed to add 5 oz. in the tail.

This engine pulled my trainer at almost 2x the weight very easily - I haven't flown my magic yet, so I will let you know how it works.
